Faeryn
The god of plants and nature. Forgotten by most people except the Green Court who worship him as the highest god under the moon goddess Lunara.
History
Along with Lunara and Kalia, Faeryn was one of the three major gods involved in the creation. With Lunara, who created the earth and moon, at the helm, Kalia and Faeryn were tasked with filling the earth with live. Kalia then created the oceans with its creatures as well as rivers and lakes, supporting life on the planet, while Faeryn took care of the lands. He created forests and grasslands, mammals and reptiles, and everything else found in Moonspire, inspired by Kalia's work he witnessed. In fact, he was so impressed by her that he developed an infatuation with her that he could never rid himself of. Once he then also found out about the relationship between Kalia and Lunara, her grew jealous of them and let his resentment fester. When Fearyn and Kalia's work on earth was finished, Lunara returned once more to create the Higher Beings. Faeryn decided this was his last chance and confessed his feelings for Kalia, who rejected him for Lunara. Blinded by jealousy and rage, Faeryn started a fight with the two the kept going for a long time and threatened to destroy all of their creations. Heartbroken and defeated, Faeryn left the two leaving his responsibilities behind as well and leaving the earth to Kalia. No one knows where he spent the next centuries.
Faeryns Madness
When Ryxos awakened and started whispering to the gods, Faeryns feelings that had been festering for centuries were brought back to the surface and he was the first to fall for his influence. At first he stayed in the shadows biding his time, knowing Ryxos would get to other gods as well. He kept a particularly close eye on Kalia who he hoped would abandon her lover and finally join him. When the time came and Kalia was also under Ryxos' influence, he contacted her and together they forged their plan to end Lunara.
Together with the other gods that did not stay loyal to Lunara, they gathered on the night of The Marking and visited Lunara on the moon, for their usual blood moon celebrations. Lunara was happy to finally see her long lost friend again, hoping they could return to the times of the Divine Triad, but her hopes were crushed swiftly, once the other gods accused of all the crimes she allegedly did. After a long fight involving most of the gods, now not restrained due to the presence of their earthly creations, they succeeded in imprisoning Lunara inside the moon.
While Kalia returned to earth to assume the identity of Lunara and preparing to summon Ryxos Faeryn started his own preparations. In secret, even unknown to the other gods, he returned to his original work of creating nature and life, now corrupted by the influence of Ryxos. He created all sorts of ferocious creatures, manically building himself an army of monsters he hoped to use once the time came to secure his power as the rightful god of his world, with Kalia finally by his side as he had always hoped. Once Lunara was defeated once and for all, and after Ryxos returned to their own plane as promised, he would take control of Moonspire as the new leader of the gods along with his new wife Alaria.
